Dear reader,
We're inching closer to settlement day for our new house! While it seems unlikely anything will go awry at this stage, I don't think it's going to feel real until we've got the keys in hand, and we're actually moving in.
Meanwhile, I've started outlining my next book, and wow, I'd forgotten how challenging this stage can be. I'm pushing myself to do more detailed planning this time around, and I'm finding that coming up with ideas takes so much more energy than writing pre-planned scenes. It’s a creative muscle I haven’t exercised in a long time.
Our Melbourne trip is also on the horizon (So soon after moving in - sigh). Mostly, I just want to shop. Both for clothes and homewares. While Australia isn't necessarily cheaper than NZ (it might even be more expensive), the selection is better. Not that I will have much money left over after the house purchase. Oof.
In other news, Clashing with the CEO is coming out in just one week! It's surreal to think all that hard work is finally coming to fruition. I'm thrilled that ARC readers are already responding positively to the book.
If you haven't grabbed an ARC yet but would like to, they're still available on NetGalley and BookSirens. Check out the BookSirens promo below for even more office romance ARCs.
Happy reading,
Sara
