Hello. Long time no see. Two weeks ago, I was in Hawke's Bay visiting my parents, so I decided to skip the newsletter. I also didn't write for about a week—probably the longest I've gone without writing anything so far this year. Now that I'm back into it, I'm loving it, and I feel like I'm making fast progress (fast by my standards, at least!).
In other news, I'm starting a sport (gasp). It's a social thing at my local park. This is me attempting to make some friends (Friendship in adulthood is so hard…). The first game is in dress-up for Halloween.
Speaking of Halloween, it's not a very big deal here in NZ. I'll probably spend it watching old horror movies at home. Not that that's much different to every other day. In the last few months, T and I have watched every Hammer Dracula, Frankenstein, the first two Mummy movies, and the Karnstein Trilogy, every Roger Corman Edgar Allen Poe movie, The Fly, House of Wax, Horror Express, and probably a load of others I'm forgetting. This is oficially our thing now. I swear, one day I'll write a cosy gothic fantasy/horror novel (with romance, naturally). But first, plenty more CEO romances to follow Clashing with the CEO.
Well, that's about it for this update. Stay warm and cosy ❤️
