Dear reader,
I got a bread maker for Christmas, and I’ve probably used it at least one a week since. Check out these hot cross buns I made!
Recipe here (except I made them fruitless, because sultanas - bleh! 🤢).
What should I bake next?
In other news…
I’m inching closer to the finish line with Clashing with the CEO, and I’m at the stage where I’m constantly thinking about my next project. It's been simmering in my mind for about a year now, and I can’t wait to start it.
Writing CwtC has been a long journey, one that's taught me some valuable lessons about my writing process. Constant iteration during drafting to discover the storyline? Not the most efficient approach. Not that I don’t try to outline—because I do. I just don’t do a good job of it.
For this upcoming novella, I'm determined to change my process. I plan to spend more time outlining and mapping out the story beats before I dive into the actual drafting process. I want to be confident that I have the structure in place and all the key scenes laid out in detail before I even think about starting the first draft.
In the meantime, I still have to finish CwtC, so I’ll let this idea bake just a bit longer 😛
